OLYMPOS

Whoever decides to visit Olympos village should be prepared for a different kind of exploration, one which does not at all resemble the usual tourist approach. The isolation of the village at the north part of Karpathos Island is what helped in the recognition and rare preservation not only of the natural beauty of the environment but mainly of the every day culture, the traditional costume, the unique Doric speech, the music and the expression of feelings through poetic extemporization.
